Hobb's Silver Belle

Hall of Fame Hobb’s Silver Belle

Hobb’s Silver Belle was owned by Keith and Jan Foreman of Sulphur, Oklahoma. Belle was a six time Champion and two time Runner-up Champion. Belle was known for her style, intensity on game, and forward pattern. Belle never had home field advantage on the grounds she competed at, but she always found a way to take advantage of the grounds she competed on. Belle was remarkable as she acquired titles in five different states.

Belle’s most noted NBHA achievements were, Winner of NBHA National Amateur Championship in 2010 at Dolan Lake, Illinois; Winner of the NBHA National Amateur Championship in 2011 at Baldwin City, Kansas; and at eleven year’s of age, Belle was named Runner-up NBHA National Amateur Championship in 2016 at Grovesprings, Missouri. Belle was the 2010-2011 NBHA Amateur Shooting Dog of the Year winner.

Belle was a product of champion breeding, her sire was Belfield Silver and her dam was Hobb’s Fancy Nan. This mating produced two champions; Tall River and Hobb’s Silver Belle. Belle was bred one time to frozen-semen Pike Creek Mike. This litter produced a son Pike Creek Silver Spike that has produced some nice dogs. These grandsons and granddaughters by Belle appear to have a bright future ahead.

Belle lived to be twelve years of age and had competed to the age of eleven. Belle’s longevity as a competitor and her ability to adapt to the many different trial grounds throughout the country makes her worthy of the NBHA Hall of Fame.
