Ron Kimberly

Ron Kimberly of Pell City, Alabama was a very active field trialer from 1996 until 2008 when his health would not allow him to continue. During that time he was a major supporter of the NBHA trials and the NBHA Futurity program.
Like most field trialer's Ron started at weekend trials with the help of professional trainer Ken Tolbert, This relationship developed a sound team of pointers with the Eboga prefix that could win. This challenged Ron to the next level, of participating in Classics and Championships.
Ron had eight different dogs that are Winners or Runner- up Champions. Ron's most two noted winners were Eboga Slick Deal who was a Runner-Up NBHA National Open Champion, Winner of the NBHA Open Invitational and Dog of the Year award winner. Eboga Cracker Jack won the NBHA national Championship in 2007 and in 2008 won the NBHA Free-For-All Champion ship and was Runner-Up of the Open National Championship.
With all of his success Ron was a big supporter to the Alabama State and their Region. Ron always had dogs to enter, would provide extra horses, and help in any way that he could to help the organization. Ron was just an extremely generous donor to the NBHA organization.
Elected to the NBHA Hall of Fame 2017
