Arnold Hall

Arnold Hall of Morristown, TN started bird hunting in the 1960's and in the 1970's started to run his dogs in field trials. Arnold became active in the early 1980's participating in NBHA field trials. Arnold was very active as a club member as he was a Vice President of the Tennessee State Bird Hunters, and was the President of the Smokey Mountain Club in East Tennessee for several years.

When Arnold was competing heavily in the 1980's and 1990's he had several dogs that had accumulated 30 or more placements each. Arnold was at several inaugural trials in the NBHA. He was at the first NBHA classic in Arkansas before it was a championship, and he competed in the first NBHA championship held at Percy Priest. Arnold placed his pointer female Spot Welder's Dot 2nd RU in the first NBHA Futurity in 1987.

Arnold has been a big supporter of the NBHA as he has judge numerous weekend trials, State Classics, Regional Championships, and the NBHA National Open Championship. Arnold has volunteered his time as a bird planter, trial chairman, trial marshal, and has devoted his time as a mentor to others who are just starting to field trial.
