Another Year of Gains for the NHBA

As the NBHA approaches the 2023 Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony, the 2022-2023 Field Trial Season once again yielded gains statistically for the organization.
The 2022-2023 NBHA field trial season yielded a total of 1,684 dogs turned loose in 44 NBHA sanctioned field trials across 14 different states. This represents a five year high along with a 9% increase from the 2021-2022 season and being the third consecutive year of growth in the number of dogs ran nationwide. On top of that, 9 of our 14 participating states increased the number of field trial opportunities for competitors with even more trials planned for the 2023-2024 season to come!
One of the most remarkable aspects of NBHA's recent growth has been the expansion of its reach and influence nationwide. With the unwavering support and dedication of our administration, clubs, participants, and volunteers, the NBHA continues to lead the charge in the pursuit of preserving and promoting the wider sport of bird dog field trialing through the walking segment.
