Puckett Named OK State Director

The National Bird Hunters Association is pleased to announce that Matthew Puckett has been appointed as State Director of Oklahoma!
Matthew has been actively involved with the AFTCA and NBHA for over three years, demonstrating his dedication to fostering the growth of our sport in the Sooner state. Thanks to his contributions, as well as the efforts of others, the NBHA has already scheduled more than six trials for the upcoming fall and spring season of 2023-2024 in Oklahoma!
Furthermore, Matthew is collaborating with an enthusiastic and committed group to host the Region 8 Amateur Shooting Dog Championship alongside NBHA companion stakes.
Matthew is a dyed-in-the-wool quail hunter, connoisseur of fine bird dogs, actively engaged with the Park Cities Quail Coalition, and a skilled communicator. Just in a relatively short time as an NBHA State Director, the fruits of Matthew's labor have already seen big returns not only in the OK State, but the Western Region as a whole.
NBHA President Ken Sauer commented on the appointment saying, "All of us with the NBHA would like to express our gratitude to Matthew for stepping up and assuming this role with the NBHA and being so productive in such a short span of time. We look forward to working with Matthew and can't wait to run in Oklahoma!"
