Jerry Kilgore
Mr. Jerry Kilgore of Lebanon, TN passed away on December 19th. Jerry was instrumental in starting the NBHA Futurity, the oldest walking shooting dog futurity in the country with its inaugural running in 1987. Due to his efforts, Jerry was rewarded as the namesake for the accompanying puppy stake. The Jerry Kilgore Puppy Classic was launched shortly after and has evolved into one of the better 30 minute puppy stakes anywhere.
Jerry was a great contributor to our organization, field trialing, and most importantly... a great person. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
