DOY/HOY Minimum Requirements

Our 2013-2014 season continues to be strong and our DOY/HOY standings are very competitive. Check out the Point Standings with the link to the left.
This is also a reminder that, as per last summer's national meeting, there are "minimum requirements" which must be met in order to win a DOY or HOY award. They are as follows...
NBHA Dog of the Year minimum requirements in each category. Dogs will need to have placed a minimum of three (3) times to be eligible to be recognized as a NBHA Dog of the Year, with three (3) or more placements the dog with the highest point total will become the Dog of the Year winner, the second highest point total will be the runner-up Dog of the Year.
NBHA Handler of the Year minimum requirements in each category. Handlers will need to have placed a minimum of three (3) times to be eligible to be recognized as a NBHA Handler of the Year, with three (3) or more placements the handler with the highest point total will become the Handler of the Year winner, the second highest point total will be the runner-up NBHA Handler of the Year.
There are quite a few trials coming up for everyone to meet these minimum requirements. Check out our NBHA Schedule page with the link to the left.
