Fishing Creek Bird Dog Club Results Updated

Fishing Creek Bird Dog Club - Saturday Oct. 29, 2011 The Fishing Creek Bird Dog Club held a NBHA trial. Heavy fog caused a delay running but once we got started we had a great day. Mike had the grounds in superb shape and birds were plentiful. Lunch was served on the grounds and everyone had a great time. The open shooting dog was won by Her Ruby Red Slipper an Irish setter owned and handled by Allen Fazenbaker. Ruby ran a nice forward race with bird work all in order. Second place went to Rare Coin owned and handled by Arnold Hall; this English Pointer male done a nice job but not quite as consistent as Ruby. Third place went to Gary Vitali’s male English setter, Vitali Grouseringer Sam I Am. Sam ran a little inconsistent but finished with a solid third place.
The Amateur Shooting Dog class was won by Ace of Sinbad; a good looking male pointer owned and handled by Jim Duncan. Ace ran a solid forward race with bird work all in order. Second place went to Gold Coin owned by Arnold Hall and handled by Ryan Hall. Coin ran thru the course nicely.
The Amateur Derby was won by a good looking male pointer by the name of C’mon Man owned and handled by Jim Fisher. Man ran the course with ease and was always on the edge. Man had a couple finds and finished going away. Second went to Forestar Firepower an English setter owned and handled by Bob Fortune. Firepower showed will for his handler.
The Amateur Puppy Class was won by Branscum’s Miss Holley. Holley is an English pointer female owned and handled by John Peek, Holley was in a class of her own in this even, going to the front, on the edges, and finishing going way. Second was won by Branscum’s Bad Company this male pointer is owned and handled by Roy Richardson. Bad Company did a good job of navigating the course but not to the extent of Holly. Third place was won by Suzie an unregistered female English Setter owned and handled by Bob Fortune.
