The 2015 NBHA Futurity and Jerry D. Kilgore Puppy Classic held its annual event on March 27th and 28th at the Whetstone Quail Demonstration Area at Williamsburg, Missouri. This is the third year being held at this location in central Missouri. The Leadership and Organizational team of this event is key to the success of the event. Trial Co-Chairmen, Kevin Western and Tim Penn, lay the groundwork for the event throughout the year while team members Larry Carpenter, Joe Zimmer, and Chris Gephardt help with all the details during the event. Kilgore Puppy Classic on March 26th and 27th at the Whetstone Quail Demonstration Area at Williamsburg, Missouri. This is the third year for this renewal to be held at this location. The NBHA is the leader in walking field trial events and the team effort for the Championship of Kevin Western, Tim Penn, Larry Carpenter, Joe Zimmer, and Chris Gebhardt mad the trial run smooth and successful. The 2015 NBHA Northeast Regional Championship was held Aril 1-4th at the Pine Island Wildlife Area near Portage, WI. These are nice grounds with sufficient water and the opportunity to really show a dog. We were blessed with beautiful spring-like weather, sprinkled with a little heat to start the trial.

Sumter Co. Birdhunter�s Association held its IB Parnell Memorial Trial at Guard Rail Kennels in Pinewood, SC. These grounds are one of the favorites for local field trailers. We are especially grateful to Nick Mellon for allowing us to continue to hold trials here. The trial dates were February 10th � 11th. We ran 67 great dogs over two beautiful days. The judges were Allen Johnson, Randy Latty and Mark Barnett, all from South Carolina. These gentlemen did an outstanding job and their decisions were accepted very well.
