The third annual NBHA AG Preserve field trial festivities started the morning of February 28th with a well organized and performed training seminar done by Hall Of Fame trainer John Rabidou of Uodibar Kennels and his trusty assistant Payton Gunby. We would like to thank John for travelling from south Texas to share some of his knowledge on birddogs and Payton for her hard work on putting it together and making sure things ran smoothly. Thanks also to Dave Walker for making the drive down from Forsyth, GA to join Mr. Rabidou in the judicial seat for the weekends trial. Finally the AG Preserve trial could not be possible if not for Darrell Gunby and the Gunby family. Mr. Darrell has put a lot of time and work into making his 700 acres of South Georgia heaven better each year and for years to come. The assistance of his wonderful wife and three daughters did not go unnoticed for their work with meal preps each day and the beautiful job they done on “The Winners Circle” setup. Drawing seventy dogs to run in two days was all because of yalls hard work and we all want to say thank you!

The Bob Catlett Memorial State Classic was held February 1st through the 3rd at the Robert E Talbott conservation area near Mount Vernon Missouri. The trial was ran by the Southwest Missouri Walking Field Trial Club under the Missouri Bird Hunters Association. We would like to thank all who participated and supported us.

Tallapoosa Field Trial Club held its 59th annual field trial on February 9th, 2019 at the farm of Marty and Linda Robinson. This has been the location of our annual trial for the last 14 years with new improvements each year that continue to provide for an incredible trial experience. We had a crowd of about 50 people including trial participants and spectators alike. The gallery wagon with eight bus seats was full at times as on-lookers enjoyed some very good performances by some amazingly talented birddogs. We welcome several new guest along with many who have attended and supported our trial for many years now. Our goal is simple; to host the best quality and most family friendly and enjoyable field trial experience in the country. I hope we are succeeding. We welcome anyone reading our report to come join us in the future and enjoy this great sport with us.

NBHA Southeast Regional Championship was held on December 7th at Rodney Poston's Farm near Pamplico, SC. This years Championship was hosted by Gamecock Bird Hunters Club and the Chairman duties was carried out by Warren Parrott. Sixteen entries battled out for this years title. Judges decision were well received as Judge Tim Ruff and Judge Gilbert Webber named this years Champion Hirollins Easy Money, PF, she is owned and handled by Warren Parrott of Scranton, SC. Runner-up Champion is Cairds Lefty, PM owned by Travis Riggs of Baltimore, MD and handled by Robert Little, of McAdam, New Brunswick.

NBHA National Amateur Championship concluded on December 15th with Judges Dr. Brent Hoehns and Jeff Wallace of Knoxville IA naming Blair's Witch Project SM as the 2018-19 Champion. "Guy" is owned and handled By Greg Blair of Menomonee Falls, WI. Runner-up Champion is Jaguar Za Czeshka SM owned and handled by Magda Lear of Louisville, KY. This years event had twenty five entries bidding for this Amateur Championship title.
