CH Honky Tonk Attitude

Honky Tonk Attitude was whelped May 15, 1994, out of the dam Queen's Addition, a daughter of Hall of Famer Ch. Addition's Go Boy. His sire was NBHA National Champion Fiddlin Rocky Boy, a son of NBHA National Champion Fiddler's Ace. He was the last puppy picked in his litter and was sent to Oklahoma along with several other puppies for early development. He was evaluated as worthless and it was recommended he be destroyed. "Bull" became a 9X Champion with four National Ch. Titles and two R-U Nat. Ch. Titles. His characteristic style and presence on game would become his trademark. He was trained and handled by Scott Miller and owned by Stan Wint. Bred sparingly, during his early career, his production was significant after five years of age. He died at 8 years of age of cancer and his win and production record are as follows.

Bull won 53 times and had 251 winning offspring, with 1482 wins to date. He produced two NBHA Futurity winners, 5 NBHA National Derby of the Year winners, and 11 NBHA National Champions. His sons and daughters have won 40 championships that include Walking/Shooting Dog, Horseback Shooting Dog and All-Age Championships. Bull had exceptional style both running and pointing, a great nose and was the epitome of class on game. His presence on game was what separated him from other dogs.

He simply found birds when others couldn't. His real legacy to the bird dog world will be the effect of his offspring. They show his characteristic style, have an abundance of pointing prowess and have great natural tendencies both in backing and retrieving.
